Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, angle inclus en losange de 80° (type C), taille 9 avec rayon de pointe de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux RM est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une large dépouille T-land stable. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables et, sous certaines conditions, aux superalliages et aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P.
