Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, V - losange angle inclus 35°, taille 16 avec rayon de coin 0,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux FM2 est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une terre T stable et modérée. Elle convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2% de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
