Plaquette de tournage positive à une face, W - trigon, taille 6 avec rayon de coin de 0,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et le premier choix pour la finition des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une bande de renfort étroite et positive. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables et, sous certaines conditions, aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une structure fonctionnellement graduée, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe continue.
