Plaquette positive simple face, W - trigon, taille 8 avec rayon de pointe 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et le premier choix pour la finition des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une bande de listel positive et étroite. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, et sous certaines conditions aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. Le substrat T9425 à revêtement MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - Aciers inoxydables (aciers résistant à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et la coupe continue.
