Plaquette positive simple face à 80° en losange (C), taille 8 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. Combinaison du brise-copeaux NF2, arête vive, premier choix pour la finition des aciers inoxydables. Il présente un angle de coupe positif sans bande de protection. Il convient également aux superalliages et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers, aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. La plaquette est recouverte d'un revêtement MT-CVD, substrat à gradient fonctionnel T9425, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux M - acier inoxydable (aciers résistant à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome) et à la coupe légèrement interrompue.
