Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, en V - angle d'inclusion de 35°, taille 16 avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux FM2 est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une facette de listel stable et modérée. Elle convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables. Revêtement MT-CVD, substrat à gradient fonctionnel T9425, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient pour les matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers à teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et d'une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
