Plaquette positive simple face, V - rhomboïde angle inclus de 35°, taille 16 avec rayon de bec 1,2 mm. Le brise-copeaux FM est polyvalent et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des aciers. Il présente un angle d'attaque positif et un T-land positif et étroit. Il convient également aux aciers inoxydables et, sous certaines conditions, aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu de MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe continue.
