Plaquette de tournage négative double face, C - rhomboïde 80° angle d'arête, taille 4 avec rayon de pointe 0.031 pouce. La combinaison de brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et un listel modéré, négatif/stable. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient de fonction, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers alliés ≤ 10 % et d'une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (pièces moulées en fer et alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
