Plaquette de tournage positive unilatérale, C - rhomboïde angle inclus de 80°, taille 6 avec rayon de coin de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux UR est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif sans méplat T. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
