Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, C - rhomboïde, angle d'inclusion de 80°, taille 9 avec rayon de coin de 0,2 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une bande T étroite et positive. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, et conditionnellement aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. Le substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11%), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe continue.
