Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, en forme de losange à 80°, taille 9 avec un rayon de coin de 0,4 mm. Le brise-copeaux RF est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Il présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un listel stable et modéré. Il convient également pour les aciers et, sous certaines conditions, pour les aciers inoxydables et les matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425 à gradient de fonctionnalité, revêtu de MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe continue.
