Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, C - rhomboïde 80° d'angle d'inclusion, taille 9 avec rayon de pointe de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux RF est robuste et le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un listel stable et modéré. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables et aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe continue.
