Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, C - rhomboïde 80° d'angle inclus, taille 12 avec rayon de bec 0,8 mm. Le brise-copeaux FM2 est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers. Il présente un angle de dépouille positif et une arête de coupe stable et modérée. Il convient également aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une structure fonctionnelle graduelle, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers à teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
