Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, C - rhomboïde 80° d'angle inclus, taille 12 avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. Le brise-copeaux RF est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Il présente un angle de dépouille légèrement positif et une plage d'appui stable et modérée. Il convient également aux aciers, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables et aux matériaux durs. Substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers alliés ≤ 10 % et dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
