Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, C - rhomboïde, angle d'inclusion de 80°, taille 12 avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. Combinaison de brise-copeaux Le brise-copeaux RM est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Il présente un angle de coupe positif et une large dépouille stable. Il convient également aux aciers inoxydables et, sous certaines conditions, aux superalliages et aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T5405 à base de WC-Co revêtu MT-CVD convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
