Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, C - rhomboïde 80° d'angle inclus, taille 12 avec rayon de bec 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux UR est polyvalente et le premier choix pour la finition des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif sans facette de renfort. Elle est également adaptée aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une gradation fonctionnelle, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe continue.
