Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, C - rhombe 80° d'angle d'inclusion, taille 12 avec rayon de bec de 1,2 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et le premier choix pour la finition des aciers. Elle présente un angle d'attaque positif et un T-land étroit et positif. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, et sous certaines conditions aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. Revêtue de MT-CVD et avec un substrat à gradient fonctionnel T9425, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
