Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, C - rhomboïde, angle inclus de 80°, taille 6 avec rayon de bec de 0,4 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux .CMW et de plaquette plate est conçue pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe neutre sans facette de renfort. Elle convient également sous certaines conditions aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T5405 en WC-Co avec revêtement MT-CVD convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (pièces moulées en alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et pour la coupe continue.
