Plaquette positive simple face, C - rhomboïde 80° d'angle d'inclusion, taille 9 avec rayon de coin 0,4 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux, plaquette plate .CMW est conçue pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe neutre sans facette de planage. Elle convient également de manière conditionnelle aux matériaux durs, et le substrat T5405 à base de WC-Co revêtu MT-CVD convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (pièces moulées en alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et Coupe continue.
