Plaquette positive simple face, C - rhomboïde 80° d'angle d'hélice, taille 9 avec rayon de pointe de 0,8 mm. Combinaison de brise-copeaux, la plaquette plate .CMW est conçue pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de dégagement neutre sans méplat. Elle est également adaptée sous certaines conditions aux matériaux durs et au substrat T5405 à base de WC-Co revêtu MT-CVD. Convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe continue.
