Plaquette négative double face, C – rhomboïde 80° d’angle d’hélice, taille 9 avec rayon de pointe 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et une arête de coupe étroite et positive. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et à gradient de fonctions, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers alliés à ≤ 10 % et d'une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe continue.
