Plaquette négative double face, forme C - rhomboïde, angle de 80°, taille 9 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux M polyvalent est le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Il présente un angle de coupe positif et un listel modéré, négatif/stable. Il convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Et un substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
