Plaquette négative double face, C - rhomboïde, angle de pointe 80°, taille 12 avec rayon de bec 0,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux KM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un listel stable et large. Elle convient également sous certaines conditions aux aciers et aux matériaux durs. Substrat T5405 en WC-Co, revêtu MT-CVD. Convient aux matériaux : K - fonte (pièces moulées en alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe continue.
