Plaquette de tournage négative double-face, C - losange 80° d'angle d'hélice inclus, taille 12 avec rayon de bec de 0,4 mm. Le brise-copeaux M est polyvalent et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Il présente un angle d'attaque positif et un T-land négatif/stable et modéré. Il convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
