Plaquette négative double face, C - rhomboïde, angle d'inclusion de 80°, taille 12 avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux KM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un listel stable et large. Elle convient également de manière conditionnelle aux aciers et aux matériaux durs. Et le substrat WC-Co à revêtement MT-CVD T5405 convient aux matériaux : K - fonte (pièces moulées en fer et alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
