Plaquette négative double face, rhomboïde C à angle inclus de 80°, taille 12 avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux NF est affûtée et constitue le premier choix pour la finition de précision des aciers, des aciers inoxydables. Elle présente un angle de dépouille très positif et une surface T étroite et très positive. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux fontes, aux alliages non ferreux et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425 revêtu de MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - aciers inoxydables (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome), P - aciers et aciers moulés (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
