Plaquette négative double face, C – rhomboïde d'angle inclus 80°, taille 12 avec rayon de bec 1,6 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux R est robuste et conçue pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de dépouille légèrement positif et une dépouille négative/stable, à double T extra-large. Elle convient également de manière conditionnelle aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425 MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et une dureté de < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2% de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
