Plaquette de tournage négative double face, C – rhomboïde, angle d’arête de 80°, taille 16, avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. Le brise-copeaux M est polyvalent et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Il présente un angle d'attaque positif et une pente T négative/stable et modérée. Il convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Le substrat fonctionnellement gradué T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et Coupes légèrement interrompues.
