Plaquette réversible négative, angle inclus de 80° rhomboïdal - C, taille 16 avec rayon de bec de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux R est robuste et conçue pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de dépouille légèrement positif et une plage d'appui en T négative/stable, extra-large et double. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs, et le substrat T5405, à base de WC-Co et revêtu MT-CVD, convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et à la coupe légèrement interrompue.
