Plaquette négative double face, C - angle inclus de 80° rhomboïdal, taille 16 avec rayon de coin de 1,6 mm. La combinaison brise-copeaux R est robuste et conçue pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et une plage négative/stable, très large, à double T. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Et le substrat WC-Co à revêtement MT-CVD T5405. convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
