Plaquette négative double face, C – rhomboïde 80° angle d'arête, taille 19 avec un rayon de bec de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux R est robuste et conçue pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de dépouille légèrement positif et un listel négatif/stable et extra-large en T. Elle convient également sous certaines conditions aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2% de teneur en carbone) et coupes légèrement interrompues.
