Plaquette double face à coupe négative, C - rhomboïdale angle 80°, taille 19 avec rayon de bec 1,6 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux RM est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une large facette de dégagement stable. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux super-alliages. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers à teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et dureté < 45HRC), M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11% de chrome), K - Fonte (alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2% de carbone) et à la coupe légèrement interrompue.
