Plaquette négative simple face, C - plaquette rhomboïde 80°, taille 12 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux NR2 est robuste et est le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers inoxydables. Elle présente un angle d'attaque positif et une lèvre double T-land négative/négative extra large. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux fontes et superalliages. Et le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD à gradient fonctionnel, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - Aciers inoxydables (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Aciers et aciers moulés (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et pour les coupes légèrement interrompues.
