Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, C - rhomboïdale 80° d'angle inclus, taille 12 avec rayon de bec 1,2 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux NR2 est robuste et le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers inoxydables. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une double lèvre en T négative/négative extra-large. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux fontes et superalliages. Le substrat T9425 revêtu de MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11%), P - acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
