Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, C - rhomboïde 80° d'angle inclus, taille 12 avec rayon de bec 1,6 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une terre double négative/stable, extra-large. Elle convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers à teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (pièces moulées en fer et en alliages de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe interrompue.
