Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, C - angle d'inclusion rhombique de 80°, taille 16 avec rayon de coin de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux NR2 est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers inoxydables. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et un listel en T double, extra-large, négatif/négatif. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux fontes et aux superalliages. et le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une gradation fonctionnelle, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et la coupe légèrement interrompue.
