Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, C - angle inclus de 80° en losange, taille 16 avec un rayon de bec de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux est robuste et le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une dépouille stable et extra-large à double T négative. Elle convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers alliés ≤ 10 % et dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe interrompue.
