Plaquette négative simple face, C - angle inclus de 80° en losange, taille 16 avec rayon de coin de 1,6 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux NR2 est robuste et le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers inoxydables. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une double lèvre T négative/négative extra-large. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux fontes et superalliages. Le substrat fonctionnellement gradué T9425 revêtu de MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe interrompue.
