Plaquette négative simple face, angle de pointe C - rhomboïde 80°, taille 19 avec rayon de bec de 2,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une double lèvre T négative/stable, extra-large. Elle convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables et superalliages. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une gradation fonctionnelle, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers à teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et d'une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2% de teneur en carbone) et coupe interrompue.
