Plaquette de tournage négative double face, C - rhomboïde angle inclus de 80°, taille 25 avec rayon de bec de 2,4 mm. Le brise-copeaux 923 est robuste et conçu pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers inoxydables. Il présente un angle de coupe positif et un listel double T extra-large, négatif/stable. Il convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers et aux fontes. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : M - acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe interrompue.
