Plaquette négative double face, C – rhomboïde 80°, taille 25 avec rayon de coin 2,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux NR2 est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers inoxydables. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une dépouille négative/négative, avec une double lèvre en T extra-large. Elle convient également pour les aciers, et sous certaines conditions pour les fontes et les superalliages. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et à gradient fonctionnel, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : M - Aciers inoxydables (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et les coupes interrompues.
