Plaquette double face négative, C – rhomboïde 80° d'angle inclus, taille 25 avec rayon de coin de 2,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux est robuste et le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une double lèvre en T négative/stable, extra-large. Elle convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Le substrat à gradient fonctionnel T9425, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P – Acier et acier moulé (aciers à teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et dureté < 45 HRC), K – Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe interrompue.
