Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, D - losange 55° d'angle inclus, taille 11 avec rayon de bec 0,8 mm. Combinaison de brise-copeaux Le brise-copeaux FM2 est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers. Il présente un angle de coupe positif et un listel stable et modéré. Il convient également aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Et un substrat à gradient fonctionnel T9425, revêtu de MT-CVD, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (pièces moulées en fer et alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
