Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, D - angle inclus de 55° rhomboïdal, taille 11 avec un rayon de bec de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux FM2 est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une bande d'usure modérée et stable. Elle convient également aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu de MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe continue.
