Plaquette de tournage positive unilatérale, D - rhomboïdale à angle inclus de 55°, taille 11 avec rayon de coin de 1,2 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux UR est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif sans méplat. Elle convient également pour les aciers, et conditionnellement pour les aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une gradation fonctionnelle, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
