Plaquette positive simple face, D - rhomboïde angle de 55° inclus, taille 7 avec un rayon de bec de 0,4 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux .CMW est conçue pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe neutre sans T-land. Elle convient également de manière conditionnelle aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T5405 est revêtu de MT-CVD, à base de WC-Co. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : K - Fonte (pièces moulées en alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe continue.
