Plaquette négative double face, en forme de D – rhomboïde avec un angle inclus de 55°, taille 15 avec un rayon de coin de 0,8 mm. La combinaison brise-copeaux .NMA plate est conçue pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe neutre sans T-land. Elle convient également de manière conditionnelle aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T5405 est en WC-Co, avec revêtement MT-CVD. Il convient pour les matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2%) et coupe continue.
