Plaquette négative double face, angle de 55°, taille 11, rayon de bec 0,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et une facette étroite positive. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Et le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement CVD MT à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
