Plaquette double face négative pour tournage, D - losange avec un angle inclus de 55°, taille 11 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une terre d'arête négative/stable et modérée. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Aciers et aciers moulés (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fontes (pièces moulées en alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe continue.
