Plaquette de tournage négative double face, à losange D avec un angle inclus de 55°, taille 11 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux SM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers et des super-alliages. Il présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un listel stable et modéré. Il convient également aux aciers inoxydables, aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux alliages non ferreux et aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et de carbone)
